Derek Villa has been named the CUNYAC Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week for the week 1 /6 to 1/10. The St. Peter's graduate posted three first place finishes, including the most contested events, the freestyle. Villa competed in both the 100 and 200 free respectively earning times of 54.29 in the 100 and 2:01:47 in the 200. In the 200 Free Relay, the CSI freshman scored a 1:39.53, which was good enough for the first place title he earned.
