Maged Mahmoud has been named the CUNYAC Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week for the week 12/30-1/6. The Valley Stream native posted two second place finishes and one first place finish against Lehman in Brooklyn's only meet of the week. Mahmoud was the first person on the team to complete the 200-Yard Medley with a time of 2:06.04. He later recorded a second place finish in his individual event, the 100-Yard Breaststroke, with a time of 1:44.22. Mahmoud anchored the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay team which finished with a time of 1:48.10, securing another first place title.
