Genesis Libertao has been named the CUNYAC/Con Edison Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the week of 12/9-12/15. The freshman from Santo Domingo found her rhythm last week, averaging 15.5 points, 3.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals to help Lehman sweep both contests. At John Jay, Liberato had 14 points, including a bank shot that sealed the win with 9 seconds left in the game. Against Notre Dame, the rookie shot 44% from the field and tallied 17 points.
