Hivelize Escobar has been named the CUNYAC Community College Women's Athlete of the Week for the week of 12/2-12/8. CUNYAC's current points leader racked up 87 points over three games this week. Versus Bergen, the rookie scored 25 while grabbing 13 boards and recording four steals. In a 66-56 conference win over LaGuardia, she scored a week-high 33 points to complement seven rebounds and six assists. She finished her week with 27 points versus in-CUNYAC opponent Hostos.
