Daniela Giraldo has been named the CUNYAC Women's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week for the week of 12/2-12/8. The rookie began her week against conference opponent John Jay. During the 107-70 victory, the Whitestone native notched gold in the 200 Meter Freestyle Relay. Her real standout performance came at the ECAC Warm-up. There she set two new school and freshman records with the butterfly. In the 200 Yard Butterfly, the standout finished with a time of 2:20.06. She followed that up with a 1:02.54 in the 100 Yard Butterfly.
