Carlos Alonso has been named the CUNYAC Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week for the week of 12/2-12/8. The rookie competed in the ECAC Warm-up Championships this week. He placed as high as 6th in the 400 Medley Relay and 7th in the 200 Medley Relay. Individually, the rookie was 19th with a time of 18:49.72 in the 1650 Freestyle. In the 200 Butterfly, the Yonkers native was 25th in 2:16.40. He also placed top 50 in the 100 Butterfly and 200 IM.
