Natalie Tombasco has been named the CUNYAC/Applebee's Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of 9/30-10/6. The junior was a stalwart for the Dolphins in their two games this week. In a 2-1 victory over in-conference opponent CCNY, CSI let the only goal score on a penalty shot. CCNY is currently ranked third in the nation in scoring per game but they were no match for the sensational Dolphins defense. The defense was even more impressive during a 3-0 shutout of John Jay. In the week, the Dolphins allowed just five total shots from the opposition over 180 minutes. CSI is currently undefeated at an outstanding 10-0-1.
