Jo-Marie Aquino has been named the CUNYAC/Pepsi Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of 9/9-9/15. This marks her second Player of the Week award this season. Over four games this week, the Bronx native accumulated 47 kills, 16 digs, six serving aces, and five blocks. Those 47 kills came with only seven errors on 81 attempts giving her an astounding .494 hitting percentage for the week. In a 3-0 victory over CUNYAC's CCNY to begin the week, the junior knocked down 18 kills with no errors for a .692 percentage. Later on in the week versus Purchase, she hit .542 with 14 kills, eight digs, and four blocks as the Lightning went on to win 3-0.
