Mayorin Trinidad has been named the CUNYAC/Pepsi Community College Women's Rookie of the Week for the week of 9/9 - 9/15. Mayorin, or better known as "Lily", led the Hostos squad with 47 assists and 9 aces, while also adding a respectable 5 kills. The Caiman finished a strong week with 20 assists, 5 digs, and 3 serving aces in a straight set victory over a well-rounded Passaic squad. The Bronx native helped Hostos to a 1-0 record in Conference play and had an overall record of 3-0.
