Tobi Alli has been named HSS Scholar-Athlete of the Month of May 2013 for her exceptional performance. A Computer Information Systems major, Alli is a leader on the track and in the classroom.
At the 2013 NCAA Division III National Championships, the junior Sprinter/Jumper placed second in the 100m with a time of 12.16 seconds. Alli then bounced back and won the ECAC Division III championship in the 100m with a time of 11.92 seconds. Along with captivating an astounding 1st and 2nd place finish in separate Championships, Alli was also awarded the CUNYAC Performer of the Year and CUNYAC/U.S.Army Championship MVP. Alli has been named an All-American in back-to-back years (2012, 2013).
Among these outstanding accomplishments, Alli has also earned back-to-back President’s Awards (2012, 2013), which is presented to Lehman College’s top student-athlete. She finished her junior year achieving a 3.414 GPA.
“I am very grateful to have earned this award,” said Alli. “This proves that hard work and dedication pays off, both in competition, and in the classroom.”
