Angel Tejeda has been named the CUNYAC/MCU Baseball Rookie of the Week for the week of 4/8 – 4/14. The outfielder hit .500 (8-for-16) with 10 RBI’s, three runs scored, two doubles, one homerun and one stolen base. In a doubleheader against Lehman, the Dominican Republic native went a combined 5-for-8 with a homer, 8 RBI’s and two runs scored. The Bearcats went 2-1 in the CUNYAC for the week and are now 8-2.
