Thierry Diessongo has been named the CUNYAC/US Army Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for the week of 4/1-4/7. This marks the second week in a row the Bronx native has been rewarded this accolade. At the Fourth Annual Ramapo College Roadrunner Invitational, the freshman set the new event record in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.73. This time has given the first year runner the fifth best time in all of Division III this season, qualifying him for CUNYAC and ECAC Championships. Diessongo was also a part of the 4 x 100 meter team along with Garnet Vanterpool, Dehazya, and Alexander whom ended up in fifth with a time of 43.80.
