Nicholas Pomo-Roman has been named the CUNYAC/MCU Baseball Player of the Week for the week of 4/1 – 4/7. The shortstop played in four games and hit .500 (9-for-18). The North Bellmore native also picked up six RBI’s, seven runs scored, four stolen bases and one walk. In a game against St. Josephs, the sophomore notched three hits, two RBI’s, two runs scored and two stolen bases. Pomo-Roman then followed up this performance against Yeshiva, in which he had three hits, three runs scored, two RBI’s and two stolen bases. The Bearcats went a perfect 4-0 for the week and improved its season record to 11-8.
