Joseph Palmeri has been named the CUNYAC/Applebees Softball Player of the Week for the week of 3/4 – 3/10. The freshman started in all seven games for the Dolphins and hit .286 for the week. The infielder picked up six hits in 21 at bats including two triples. The Staten Island native also had four RBI’s, two runs scored, four walks and one stolen base for Lehman. In a 8-5 win over Kings College, Palmeri went 2-4 with a triple and run scored. He followed this performance in his next game against Wilkes where he recorded an RBI triple.
