Alex Barbulsecu has been named the CUNYAC/Con Edison Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the week of 2/25 – 3/3. The freshman registered 26 kills, 12 blocks and two digs while hitting 53.8%. In a match against Brooklyn, the middle blocker recorded eight kills, seven blocks and had a hitting percentage of 80% in four games. He followed this performance against York in which he had eight kills and three blocks. Hunter was undefeated this week in 4 matches.
