Emmanuel Geffrard has been named the CUNYAC/Con Edison Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the week of 2/18 – 2/24. In three Cardinal wins this week, the Haiti native competed in 9 sets in three games and averaged three kills, 1.89 digs and 1.56 aces per set. In a match against CUNYAC rival John Jay, the freshman notched eight kills, six aces and seven digs. Later the week, the Queensborough transfer recorded 10 kills, three aces and seven digs. He currently leads York in kills with 2.67 and aces with 0.40 per set this season. York now has an overall record of 10-4.
