James Marty has been named the CUNYAC/Emblem Health Men’s Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for the week of 1/7-1/13. In the Bulldog’s meet against Old Westbury, the senior competed and placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:16.62. The City native also participated in the 200-yard freestyle relay in which they placed second with a time of 1:52.36 as Marty swam the final leg of the race. The senior also competed and placed third in the 200-yard individual medley completing the event in 2:35.63. Brooklyn College Men’s swimming and diving team is now 2-4 on the season with Purchase College as their next opponent on 1/18.
