Kristina Shcherban has been named the CUNYAC/Applebee’s Female Athlete of the Week for the weeks of 12/17 – 1/6. The sophomore scored 20 points and registered four rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in a 59-53 win against Dutchess. The Russian native averages 15.8 points, six rebounds, 1.7 assists, 2.7 steals and one block this season. This is the second time Shcherban has won this award during the 2012-2013 season.
