Jacky Lau has been named the CUNYAC/Emblem Health Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week for the week of 12/10-12/16. For the fifth time this season, the Brooklyn native has earned the week’s top freshman honor. In a two-in-one meet this week, Lau swam in three events. He began his day with a 57.81 time in the 100-Yard Backstroke to give him first place over both Queens and Adelphi. In the 200 IM he finished first versus Queens and second against Adelphi with a time of 2:04.93. He finished out his day with a double victory on the 200 Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:31.01. His efforts helped the Bearcats to a 56-55 win over Queens College and a 71-36 victory over Adelphi University.
