Kristina Shcherban has been named the CUNYAC/Applebee’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week of 12/10 – 12/16. The sophomore averaged 11.5 points, 6.5 assists, 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks in two games over the week. The Moscow native went 9-10 from the free-throw line and contributed to Hostos’ 67-62 win over rival Queensborough. She followed this performance with 15 points against Westchester.
