Chad Coachman has been named the CUNYAC/Applebee’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week of 12/3 – 12/9. The sophomore racked up 40 points, seven rebounds, nine steals, and 11 assists over three games. The Caiman began his week against the Panthers of BMCC with 11 points, three rebounds, four steals, and five assists as Hostos won 79-50. He followed up that performance in a 91-42 victory over Dutchess with 17 points, three rebounds, and three assists. The final game of the week came against Nassau. In the closely contested 67-62 victory, the Queens native scored 12 points, grabbed four rebounds, and dished out three assists. The 3-0 week brought Hostos to 9-1 overall and 3-0 in CUNYAC play.
