Junior Kenny Kim has been named the CUNYAC/Applebee’s Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week after notching impressive accomplishments in two meets this past week. He had strong performances in all six of his events against Brooklyn and Division 1 Manhattan. Against Brooklyn, Kim placed second in 50 Freestyle with a time of 22.14 and first in 500 at 5:11. He was also member of the winning 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:27.78. That relay time would qualify the group for the ECAC Open and help Baruch to a 131-59 victory. Versus Division I Manhattan, the junior placed first in both the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:50 and the 100 Butterfly at 55.17. The New Jersey native was also part of the 200 Freestyle Relay that placed first with a final time of 1:32.60.
