Franklin Garcia has been named the CUNYAC/Con Edison Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the week of 11/26 – 12/2 after averaging nine points, two rebounds and two assists in three games. The New York City native also shot an impressive 50% from beyond the three-point line. The guard went a perfect 5-5 from the field, including 3-3 from behind the arc in a 91-62 victory over CUNY rival Hunter. In the Bearcats 76-63 win over Yeshiva, the freshman netted 12 points and three assists.
