Aimee Grossman has been named the CUNYAC/Metro PCS Women’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week. Grossman played in six games this week compiling an astounding 147 assists as CCNY went 4-3 for the week. She began the week against John Jay, the freshman had 19 assists and seven digs as CCNY won 3-0. In a 3-2 victory over Mount Saint Vincent, the Brooklyn native accumulated 33 assists and 16 digs. She had 23 helpers and seven digs as the Beavers took on WPI. Her most outstanding game of the week came against Sarah Lawrence. In the four set victory, the setter had an amazing 42 assists to help her teammates finish the week on a positive note. The 4-3 week included two conference victories and brought CCNY to 5-2 in conference play.
