Rebecca Peralta has been named the CUNYAC/Metro PCS Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week for the second time this season. Baruch continues their sweep of this award as they climb to a 13-6 overall record. Over her 20 sets played, Peralta racked up 61 kills, 16 serving aces and 63 digs. She began the week against New Paltz with 18 kills, three serving aces, and 12 digs as the Bearcats played a five set thriller. Peralta followed that performance up compiling nine kills with a .444 hitting percentage and 12 digs as Baruch triumphed over Elmira 3-0. The junior then played in the 3-2 victory over Stevens Tech where she accumulated 10 kills, three serving aces, and 10 digs. She finished out her week against NYU-Poly with 15 kills, seven serving aces, and 20 digs as the Bearcats won 3-1.
