Brooke King, a first year member of the John Jay Women's Cross Country team, was named the CUNYAC/US Army Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week. After winning consecutive Athlete of the Week awards, King ran in the Ramapo Roadrunner Invitational. Her time of 21:08 was good for a 10th place finish out of 81 runners.
