Rebecca Peralta has been named the CUNYAC/Metro PCS Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week. The junior made heavy contributions in the 5-0 week for the Bearcats. For the week, she compiled 43 kills, 15 serving aces, and 44 digs with a hitting percentage of .348. In a 3-0 conference win against CSI, she had five serving aces, three digs, and five kills. She accumulated 14 kills, four serving aces, and 10 digs to go along with an outstanding .524 hitting percentage as the Bearcats downed CCNY 3-0. The next day against Ramapo, the outside hitter had 12 kills and a hitting percentage of .440 to go along with 12 digs as the Bearcats rolled 3-0. In the 3-0 win over Manhattanville, she tacked on another 10 digs and three servings aces. She finished out the week in a 3-0 victory against Rutgers-Newark with eight kills, a serving ace, and nine digs.
