For the first time this season Courtney White earns herself a rookie of the week honor. The freshman’s efforts in a tough doubleheader against Rutgers-Newark set her apart from the others in the last week of the 2012 regular season campaign. In her sole appearance for the week, White went 2-for-4 from the plate, scoring one run and tallying a career high five RBI’s with two doubles in the second game against the Scarlet Raiders. White and the rest of the Baruch softball team will return to action May 2 as they go against the John Jay Bloodhounds for the playoffs to the CUNYAC/Applebee’s Softball Championship.
