Harry Santiago earns his second consecutive CUNYAC/Applebee’s Athlete of the Week award. Santiago helped his team to a 2-2 split against conference opponent Bronx Community College. He hit .526 on the week raising his season batting average to .443 which ranks second on the team. Additionally, in the Panthers 17-16 victory, Santiago got the offense going early with a leadoff homerun in the first inning; finishing the game just a triple shy of the cycle. He has been a catalyst from the leadoff spot for the Panthers high-octane offense which has six double-digit scoring games this season.
