Earning his first weekly honor of the season, Jason Javier has been named CUNYAC/Applebee’s Men’s Athlete of the Week. The freshman infielder from the Bronx showed his versatility this week, starting games at both shortstop and second base for the Panthers. Jason batted .444(8 for 18) on the week compiling eight RBIs, five runs scored, three walks, and three stolen bases. His eight RBIs of the week came over a two day three game series against CUNY rival Kingsborough CC.
