Brittany Smith earns her third rookie of the week award after batting .467 this week going 7-for-15 at the plate with four runs scored and three RBI's. The freshman started her week going 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI in the first game of the doubleheader against Farmingdale State. She went on to bat 1-for-4 from the plate with a run scored in the second game as the Dolphins edged out Farmingdale for the 4-3 win. In the doubleheader sweep against Baruch, the rookie was 2-for-4 from the plate in the first game, scoring two runs with an RBI. She followed that performance with another 2-for-4 effort at the plate with two runs scored and another RBI in the 8-0 victory over the Bearcats.
