Rookie of the week Toniann Donde started her week going 2-for-3 from the plate bringing in one run in a conference win over the Brooklyn Bulldogs. The freshman was 2-for-2 from the plate in the win over Lehman splitting the conference doubleheader. In the first victory in the doubleheader sweep against Hunter, Donde notched two RBI’s and a run scored in the 6-1 win. In the second matchup she went 2-for-4 with an RBI as the Bearcats beat out the Hawks’ 4-3. For the week the third baseman was 11-for-25 from the plate hitting .440 with five RBI’s totaled.
