Brittany Smith takes home her second Rookie of the Week honors after a stand-out week in four games for the Dolphins. Garnering a .733 batting average for the week, Smith connected on 11 out of 15 at-bats, driving in nine runs and scoring nine more of her own. The freshman outfielder contributed an in-the-park homerun in Staten Island’s 8-3 victory against non-conference opponents NJCU, and she tied a CSI record in game one against York College, tallying four stolen bases in a single game.
