Danny Olson earns his second Rookie of the Week honors with his tremendous performance in Baruch’s three-win week versus #5 NYU and conference opponents, the York Cardinals. Against nationally ranked NYU, the freshman tallied 42 assists and five digs. Olson maintained his intensity in the two following conference matches, with another 39 assists in game one, and 39 assists with four total blocks in game two. On the week, Olson totaled 122 assists helping his squad earn the #2 seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Men’s Volleyball Championship. The Bearcats host the John Jay Bloodhounds in the quarterfinals tomorrow at 6:00pm.
