For the second consecutive week, Nicole Flint is named CUNYAC’s softball pitcher of the week after her performances on the mound and from the plate. The junior started her week going 2 for 4 from the plate scoring one run and one RBI in the win over NJCU. Flynn also pitched a complete game for the Bearcats against NJCU, going 7.0 innings, striking out seven batters in the in. She followed this performance going 4 for 5 with two RBI’s and two runs scored in the conference win over York, pitching a complete game shutout, going 5.0 innings, striking out 10 of the Cardinal’s batters. For the week Flynn pitched 18.0 innings, surrendering no earned runs, stroking out 18 batters, earning two victories for the Bearcats.
