Alex David is named CUNYAC/MCU Baseball Rookie of the Week as he threw five solid innings against Rutger-Camden on the way to a 5-4 victory for the Cougars. Over the five innings the freshman pitched he surrendered just two hits while giving up one run and striking out one. With this victory, David started the first trend in CCNY’s 3-1 week as the Cougars went on to defeat Yeshiva in a doubleheader. City College is set to return to action Wednesday March 28 at Randall’s Island to take on SUNY Maritime at 4:00 pm.
