CUNYAC/MCU Baseball Rookie of the Week goes to Frank Smith after the Dolphins’ five game winning streak and batting .562 for the week. Smith started the week going 2-for-4 with a homerun and a stolen base in the win over Mount St. Vincent. In the double-header wins against St. Joseph’s Brooklyn the freshman went 3-for-6 with one RBI and one run scored. Smith followed those performances in the doubleheaders against Yeshiva going 4-for-6 with three extra base hits, four runs scored and two RBI’s.
