Reigning AVCA Division III National Player of Week, Christopher Newcomb had yet another impressive week for the Hawks. The senior outsider hitter compiled a team-high 44 kills on an impressive .4422 attacking in a week which saw the Hawks go a perfect 3-0, knocking off #10 Vassar in addition to securing a pair of CUNYAC wins to remain undefeated in the conference. Newcomb finished the week with two service aces, 11 digs, and four blocks. The Hawaii native averaged 4.40 kills pert set and had an impressive reception percentage of .917.
