Jerome Alexander garners the last weekly honor after John Jay’s 2-0 week in the final weeks of the 2011-2012 regular season. The senior from Brooklyn shot 40.4% from the field this week averaging 25 points per contest and 4.5 rebounds. In the 71-66 win over Baruch (Feb. 9) Alexander scored 25 points on a 11-for-22 shooting display from the field, 1-for-2 beyond the arc and knocked down two of his four free throw attempts. The guard also swiped four steals on the defensive end to go with his two-rebound and two assists game. The Elmont alum banked another 25 points in the win against Lehman, shooting .320 (8-for-25 FG) and .889 (8-for-9 FT), registering seven rebounds, three assist and another steal.
