Amil John earns the CUNYAC Player of the Week as he averaged 18.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 6.7 steals per game as the Bulldogs went 2-1 for the week. Brooklyn’s lone loss of the week was to #20 William Patterson (Jan. 30) which John scored seven points shooting 2-for-5 on the field and netting three of his four shots on the free throw line. Against conference and borough rival Medgar Evers (Feb. 1), the senior scored a career and game-high 31 points (12-for-20 FG, 3-for-6 3FG, 4-for-4 FT), to go with six assists and seven steals in an 87-77 win. The guard finished the week with 18 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and five steals in a key non-conference win over Richard Stockton (Feb. 4).
