Currently leading the boards in CUNYAC, ECAC and NCAA Division III, Lehman’s Jasmine Springer garners her first weekly honor of the season. Springer and her fellow Lightning squad competed in the Gotham Cup Invitational this past week. The junior’s 11.67 meter jump in the triple jump got her a fourth place standing at the event and currently has her ranked number one in the NCAA Division III, ECAC and CUNYAC rankings. She went on to place 8th in the long jump with 5.21 meters which currently places her second in the conference, right behind fellow teammate Tobi Alli. Springer’s final event in the meet was the 4x400 relay which finished 11th with a time of 4:03.18, currently ranking third in Division III and first in the ECAC and CUNYAC.
