Chryzl Goco is named this week’s top rookie after her two top place finishes in Hunter’s matchup against Mt. Saint Vincent (Jan. 13). The Bayside alum got her first win in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:09.79. The freshman also swam a leg on the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.33) relay which also garnered another first place victory for the Hawks’ to take home with 102-80 team win at Mount Saint Vincent. The Hawks’ women’s swimming and diving team are set to return to action on January 20 for a non-conference matchup against Western Connecticut State.
