Freshman Jessica Salas started her CCNY women’s indoor track and field career being part of the freshman record setting 4x800m (12:25.49) and spring medley relay (5:12.13) in the CTC Relay Carnival (Dec. 4). Salas is also ranked first in CUNYAC in both mile and 800m after finishing with a time of 5:52.30 and 2:35.90, respectively in the Bill Wards Invitationals (Dec. 8). The rookie is also currently ranked first in the CTC and CUNYAC after finishing with a time of 1:27.92 in the 500m at the Brother Jasper Invitational. Salas also set another CCNY school record with her 3:17.94 finish in the 1000m that also currently ranks her first in CUNYAC and fourth in the CTC.
