For the second time this season Baruch’s Julia Sung is recognized as this week’s top female swimmer. The Bearcats faced Division II level opponents, Queens College and Adelphi University in a Tri-meet competition. Garnering a win against Queens (54-51) and a loss against Adelphi (54-41), Sung had top times in all three of her events. In the 200 medley relay the sophomore, along with teammates Priscilla Arana, Sally Lim and Alyssa Lubrino placed first with a time of 1:58.50. The sophomore was the first to touch the wall in both the 200 yard freestyle (2:06.34) and 100 yard backstroke (1:05.68) helping Baruch get the win over Queens. The Bearcats will return to action following the final exam and holiday break on January 6, meeting conference rival Hunter.
