For the second consecutive week Chryzl Goco has been named rookie of the week. In Hunter’s 2-0 week, Goco placed first in four out of the five races she competed in. In the 127.5-67.5 conference win against Brooklyn the freshman placed second in the 200 yard medley relay (2.15.08), and first in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1.09.04. Against Saint Elizabeth Goco touched the wall first in all three of her races which were the 400 yard medley relay (4.33.11), 200 yard backstroke (2.27.60) and 400 yard freestyle relay (4.08.73). The Hawks return to action December 6th where they face off with St. Joseph’s-Long Island.
