Yury Zimarev, a native of Moscow, Russia earns his first Rookie of the Week award after finishing with top times in all three of his events this week. Facing Maritime, Zimarev teamed up with his fellow Dolphins, Vlad Romanov, Timur Rakhimov and Danila Novikov to finish first in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:34.54. The Staten Island freshman, and Olympic Reserve alum, touched the wall first in both the 50 freestyle (22.09) and 100 butterfly (53.77), despite suffering an overall team loss to Maritime. Zimarev and the Dolphins next face Brooklyn College in a conference matchup on December 7.
