John Jay’s Jerome Alexander earns the first Player of the Week award following the Bloodhounds’ current undefeated streak of 3-0. In his 40-minute effort at Bard College (Nov. 15), the senior scored a total of 25 points, with six rebounds and four assists. The Brooklyn native was named Most Valuable Player during the Farmingdale State/Courtyard by Marriot Tip-off Tournament, in which he netted 22 points with six assists and 2 rebounds en route to John Jay’s second victory of the week. Alexander scored his week high of 27 points during the win against Montclair State (Nov. 19), where he shot 13-25 on the field with six assists registered and five rebounds.
