In a 2-0 week for the Brooklyn Bulldogs women’s swimming and diving team, sophomore Valentina Monroy won all six events that she competed in. The Edward R. Murrow alum claimed three first place finishes in the 200-yard Medley Relay (2:17.04), 200-yard Individual Medley (2:44.43) and the 100-yard Butterfly (1:15.61) helping her team to a 49-46 win over St. Joseph’s College of Brooklyn. Two days later Monroy added another three first place finishes in the 200-yard Medley Relay (2:17.29), 1,000-yard Freestyle (13:35.73) and the 100-yard Butterfly (1:20.72) in a 98-81 win over Old Westbury. The Bulldogs take a break for the holiday season but are set to host conference foe, Hunter College, on November 30th.
