For the second consecutive week, Brooklyn College senior Benjamin Ireland has been named the CUNYAC/US Army Men’s Cross Country Rookie of the Week.
Ireland takes home the accolade following his performance at the Lehman College Lighting 8K Invitational this past Sunday, October 2nd, which was held at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, NY, as the Marcellus, NY native posted a 19th place overall finish in the field of 142 runners with a time of 30:36.14.
Ireland was the first BC runner to cross the finish line as the Bulldogs finished in seventh place out of 19 teams.
