The reigning Community College Tournament Most Valuable Player, Samantha Leotsakos is enjoying a superb sophomore season, as the Tigers are 7-2 overall and 4-0 in CUNY Athletic Conference play with four more games on the slate before the 2011 CUNYAC/EmblemHealth Championships on Monday, October 24th at Kingsborough CC. Last week QCC went 3-1, beating Suffolk, Globe and Borough of Manhattan and extended their sole loss to regionally-top-ranked Nassau to five games. The 5’10” outside hitter had her two best games against the Long Island schools, getting 33 kills, seven aces and 27 digs in the two matches, while hitting an extremely impressive .410 for the week.
